I changed my eating habits to be more aware of serving size and calorie intake. So, I still eat cake, but I am aware when doing so that eating cake plus going out for teriyaki chicken two hours later is not a good idea. I pretty much only buy food from Trader Joes (preferably 1-serving sized entrees/packages) and have various types of salads for lunch at work. I think serving/portion sizes were seriously messing me up. I have an urge to eat the entirety of whatever I've opened or purchased, but a lot of times, that's 4x what you're supposed to eat...
I've been very quiet about this all because I know elements of my flist are sensitive -- some more than others -- and I didn't want to trigger anyone at risk.
